Epic Games: FAB

Launching in 2024, Fab is a new digital content marketplace that will unite the power of ArtStation, SketchFab, Quixel, and Unreal Engine in a single destination for all content creators to discover, share, buy, and sell millions of high-quality assets. Epic tapped my team to define Fab’s brand identity, including the name, look and feel, and brand guidelines.

My role was to play with, expand, and finalize the FAB brand guidelines to ensure a successful launch and integration into the market - a critical milestone in Epic's roadmap for the future.

Brand Identity

To bring Fab's look and feel to life, we incorporated assets, characters, and environments sourced right from the creator community. We leaned into brand expressions that put creators’ work front and center, showcasing delightful surrealism and blending realistic and fantastic imagery to visually imply that Fab is a creator's portal from the real world to the metaverse.
